There's An App For that: iPasta

We love pasta in our home. All types of pasta. We each have our own way of cooking it. I even make homemade pasta occasionally. My daughter, Sydney, is a wizard with her iPad. She demonstrated to me the iPasta HD app by Barilla that she downloaded from iTunes. I was impressed. So I downloaded the iPasta app for my Droid from the Droid Market. When the app starts your language choices are Italiano or English. Very cool. The app helps you pick the pasta based on the occasion or you can pick a pasta recipe from a region of Italy. Once you find a recipe that you like you can mark it as a favorite so it's easier to find again. The app comes with following tools: shopping list, pictures, a cooking timer and a spaghetti measurer.
